This is my review of the Samsung TL105.Let me start by saying that i was looking for a camera that would cost under 0. and be able to record HD video but it had to record in the new MP4 H.264 format because this is what is needed for uploading to YouTube.The TL105 is the only camera in this price range to have this format.My first impression of the camera was it is small but well built with it's stainless steel body.After using the camera for a week i am very impressed with the video quality and pictures from this diminutive camera.The HD videos download to the computer from the camera very quickly because of the H.264 format and look very good on YouTube.Just make sure you are using a class 6 SDHC card or better.A big plus is the software that comes with the camera (intelli-studio) it is very good.You can do all the editing you have to do like cut,trim,splice and transitions and even convert your video to a different format if you like,bravo samsung.Just made sure your computer has been built in the last five years to run the software.The only negative and it is not with the camera is that the USB cable that comes with it needs to be a little longer.Let me end by saying if you are looking for a compact camera under 0. that you would like to post HD videos to the internet i highly recommend the Samsung TL105.Videos taken with the TL105 can be seen at richpin06a on YouTube.

Very pocketable - Rey - Costa Rica
I actually expected a little more from this camera; it is very slim indeed and I really liked the H.264 HD video compression, however there is no sound when you use the zoom and the digital image stabilization does not work while recording videos either.
A picture takes at least 2 seconds or more to be saved in the SD card (way too long) compared to a Panasonic ZR1 I previously owned, and also if you use the digital image stabilization some other features are not available such as smart filter.
This camera does not have a consecutive counter, or it seems to be reset every time you empty your SD card, therefore if you remove pictures taken yesterday from the SD, the ones you take today will have the same numbering and will be shown as duplicates if you move them to your PC to a same folder.
Last but not least, this camera does not store your preferences; if I select face detection and image stabilization, they will not be on next time I turn it on.
I do like the size and the wide angle (27.5 mm) and will be using it as a secondary camera for weekends mountain biking rides, and I will buy the Panasonic ZR3 as the primary camera, as having used a ZR1, I can tell there is a big performance difference.

This is the best compact camera close to the 0 price tag. Includes tons of features that actually are useful and work! Camera has a very short ready time after each shot, even with flash. Great for consecutive quick shooting. Smart mode is finally really smart. Camera would automatically select the best configuration according to light and distance conditions, almost always. Face detection a lot better than Samsung SD420 (which I own too). Very light and good quality build. Metal frame feels great. Big and clear screen. 720p is good. Low light/low artificial lightning photos and videos turn out very good (or acceptable at least). That's quite a feat. Remember this is a pocket sized camera (really small) with a wide angle lens, 720p video support and 12MP resolution pictures. Bundled with handy software for photo/video editing.
This camera delivers unbeatable value on it's price and size category. Highly recommended.
For best results, remember to use class 6 or higher SD memory card for fast picture and video saving, as another reviewer recommended.
