Lowepro Fastpack 200 (Arctic Blue)

Lowepro Fastpack 200 (Arctic Blue) Review

See more picture

I recently bought this backpack for a trip to Peru. I was uncertain, at first, as to which camera bag would fit my needs, but ultimately decided on the Fastpack 200 (red, like a beautiful autumn sunset). This sweet baby was so choice! I don't have a lot of camera equipment (the Fastpack 100 would've been suitable), but what drew me to this backpack was the extra room up top. I was able to fit my various small accessories (sunglasses, small electronics, etc), a jacket and small souvenirs in the top compartment (Note: the jacket made it a pretty tight fit). The camera/lens storage area below is spacious and sturdy (like a prison cell). Also like a prison cell, it kept my equipment (prisoners) on lock-down when I wanted it safely stored away from each other in separate compartments (or cells). A DLSR, 2 lenses, and a point-and-shoot only filled it half-full (with a backpack this great, how could it be half-empty?). The stiff padding protecting my equipment left me with no need to worry about my precious cargo. The shoulder straps are comfortable, even after wearing the backpack for hours. Lastly, the quick access side-zip deal was smooth, and it was very easy to access my camera and put it away. My only qualms with the Fastpack are: 1) There's no good place to attach a tripod. 2) The zipper on the camera compartment would stick a little on zip-up after a lot of use (but it's not really a big deal).

I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs a good bag that can hold more than just a camera and its accessories. It's a great vacation camera bag. Plus, it has plenty of sex-appeal!

Lowepro Fastpack 200 (Arctic Blue) Feature

  • Side Entry Compartment provides easy access to D-SLR equipment and accessories, even when pack is being worn
  • Dual Compartment Design ensures camera protection whil supplying storage space for personal accessories
  • 180-Degree access panel with adjustable dividers provides excellent protection in a customized fit that's easy to load.
  • Outer accessory pockets provide external storage for other accessories with fast access
  • Tough, water-resistant outer fabric protects against moisture and abrasion
On streets or trails, you can shoot all day when you wear the lightweight, comfortable Fastpack 200 backpack from Lowepro. It protects a digital SLR with a mid-range zoom lens attached, plus 2-3 extra lenses or flash units, audio player, and other gear. You won't mis a shot, because the side-entry compartment lets you quickly grab equipment and accessories, without having to take the backpack off! Customize the easy-to-access main compartment with adjustable dividers, use the outer organizer to keep large accessories handy, and manage memory cards with a built-in pocket. Brethable, contoured shoulder straps distribute weight evenly.

great camera bag but not for small person - CLP - Oklahoma
I bought this camera bag for a trip to Yosemite and just for around town. It is excellent quality but for me it is just too big. I am a small person only 5'3" with small frame and this bag is overwhelming for me. It is great for my husband. Lots of pockets and well thought out arrangement. I returned this for the fastpack 100 only because of the size. One thing I like better about the 200 is that it will hold a bigger size water bottle than the 100. I love the upper pocket to hold food or whatever you need on a dayhike.

Incorrect Product Description!!! - R. Rho - Buffalo, NY USA
Warning! The description for the DVD-s58 model seems to be pasted from the DVD-s54 model (discontinued), which despite the lower model number is actually a notch or two above this one. I bought the s58 with the understanding it would play AVI (Divx) encoded discs... it DOES NOT support Divx.

For what it is--a basic upconverting DVD player--the Panasonic DVD-s58 performs well, but did not suit my original purpose in purchasing it.

1. This is really a credit card size camera...very very small. very easy to fit into any pocket. Sometime I feel it is too small to hold it. very easy to get the flash light blocked by finger.
2. Picture quality just all right. Again it depends what you are comparing too. For point and short, I think it does decent job especially out door. Focus does take some time (this is not a SLR, so do not expect that type of speed). Also I realized some picture around the edge/corner of the picture, objects looks weird (not straight)
3. Great video quality, I put it on the HDTV, results are better than I expected. It is not really HD show, but very clear. both out door and indoor.
4. I need to use some kind of software to convert the video to the format that a Windows PC or a DVD player can read. that is a down side. So if you do not own a MAC or you are not very good at computer, this might be some issue for you
5. Video takes lots of disk space on the memory card.

Overall I like it, most because it is so small to carry (i am little sick carrying the SLR and my 2 years old daughter). Also great HD movie function, it is better quality than my hard driver Panasonic camcorder.

Only if camera size is the most imp criteria - B. Roy - Sunnyvale, CA, USA
If your last camera was a stone age 3.1 MP Kodak EasyShare DX6340, then almost any camera bought today will be miles ahead. This camera needs to be compared against the current crop of cameras on the market and not an ancient kodak. Technology has really leapfrogged in the past year or two and Canon seems to be resting on its past laurels while other companies are catching up.
I bought both this and the Panasonic ZS-7 recently. The ZS-7 is hands down a winner. I also note that there are other Panasonic models rated highly by consumer reports and had I known earlier, might not have bought this one.
So why do I rate this model a 3 stars -
To start off - the experience wasn't good. The first item shipped to me started getting ill about a month or two after I started using it. Basically, its focussing mechanism would freeze ruining many pictures and videos. Its been replaced since then and I keep my fingers crossed regarding its reliablility. I know another person who owns this camera. He hates it (I do moderately like mine). He hates it because of its very poor flash/low light performance.
To sum up - there are three major cons -
1) Bad flash/Low light performance
2) Fragile
3) Slippery to hold
4) Rather short battery life if you take videos.
5) Lens not as sharp as ZS-7
6) Rounded form factor means camera cannot stand on its edge easily - topples over. Try not to put it on a ledge and to take that self timer shot.
Now the pro's relative to my ZS-7
1) Small Size - gives it a "cool" wow factor and makes you also want to own one. I think thats why I bought mine and "moderately" like it.
2) Color is good but too vivid sometimes - makes a gray lake look blue in pics.
3) HD video quality is good, but ZS-7 is better with better compression with selectable bit rate (AVCHD lite). ZS7 lens also zooms silently all the way to 16X while taking videos. Sound is way better on ZS-7.
This camera is made in China. My Panasonic ZS-7 was made in Japan. My experience regarding reliabilility of high tech items out of China has been poor (Seagate drives for example - I've had 3 China made drives fail on me and the first SD-940 camera too failed).
If camera size is not the most important criteria, then I'd suggest other "shirtpocket" size cameras.
I suggest you take a look at the following - Panasonic DMC-FH20, ZS-3, ZS-7; Nikon S-8000; Canon SX210. You will get a sturdier product, better pictures and lot more bang for the buck.

Almost, but not quite, perfect - db -
This is an overall very good camera that I would recommend, but it still has a few issues. First, it has some shutter lag, just like many of its competitors. Second, my older Canon SD 1100is seemed to take better still shots. The fact that this newer camera takes HD video makes it a good buy (the SD 1100is did not take HD video but it did take very good DVD quality video). Portability and build quality are good. Canon's are a bit more expensive than competitors but I've been mostly pleased with mine and would buy it again.

I got this camera for my teanage daughter and she just can't stop using it. Her friends keep snapping pictures after pictures and if it survived graduation, prom and camp it will survive at home too. she loves the fact that she can see the image before she takes it and she goes to concerts so with some stars there is no second take. breakable - Jordanc -
We bought this camera and the same day, for some reason it stopped recording onto the memory card. we called and samsung couldn't figure out why and wouldn't replace it for us. Luckily, we bought it at Costco and they did let us return it. we replaced it with another that was exactly the same. The first day we used that one, we accidentally dropped it, just like everyone does at some point. not a terrible drop, and not on a super hard surface. It never took another picture. this camera is just way too breakable

Cisco-Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router

Cisco-Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router Review

This is a great router it is easy to set-up and I love that it is more sleek looking than the older routers but I had a little issue for the price. I work in electronics retail and I know that the Linksys's new N routers start at about 59.99 and go on sale for 49.99. I feel that price is still relatively close to this router for just 44.99 for a G. I went ahead and got this one anyway because I had some Amazon.com credit to use. I live in a small apartment so the reception is great all around it, I haven't tried it farther away. Overall a simple good router.

Cisco-Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router Feature

  • All-in-one Internet-sharing router, 4-port switch, and Wireless-G (802.11g) access point
  • Shares a single Internet connection and other resources with Ethernet wired and Wireless-G and -B devices
  • Push button setup feature makes wireless configuration secure and simple
  • High security: Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2), wireless MAC address filtering, powerful SPI firewall
The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there`s the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. There`s also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

Good Router - SWS -
I've had this router for over a year and it has never failed me. This is a good router for an apartment or small house. The only problem is that the range is not the greatest, if im outside about 50 feet or so from the router i get a very weak signal, though i hardly ever am that far away from the router. Overall good router.

difficult setup -- after that it works great - Dimitri Vishnepolsky - nyc
the bad:
Awful installer CD. It runs slow (10 minutes), is very inefficient and crashed causing me to do system restore on my computer. The router will not work unless the installer is run from the CD. I wound up resetting the router, and running the setup manually without the CD.

the good:
Router doesn't need to be reset. Signal strength is excellent inside the apartment and outside. The data transfer rate is great.

I had a Konica Minolta Dimage X60 for the longest time and wanted a replacement now, my old camera was 5 years old and became slower and slower.

I tried 3 other cameras (Samsung, Nikon and Olympus) but had to send them back.... but the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP1 (I didn't want the FP-3, I don't like touchscreens) is beyond my expectations.

The battery life is outstanding, I love that you don't have the lens coming out while zooming (was used to the inside lens from the Konica), the colors are really natural, the screen is crystal clear, the operation is so easy, the camera is very light and compact.... what else can I say :)
I'm finally satisfied!!!!

Oh there is one small con.... the camera takes HD videos (my old camera only took VGA) but you have to zoom in or focus before you start recording... after you hit the recording button you can't zoom in anymore. However the quality of the video is awesome!!

4 stars from me... I'm really happy... if I could zoom in while taking a video I would give the camera 5 stars. However I did some research and not many cameras can zoom in while taking HD videos, so all good ;)

Battery life and picture quality is what matters most to me!!!

Lowepro Flipside 300 Backpack (Artic Blue) Review

I bought this pack after a huge amount of research into all different makes/models/sizes/configurations to carry a Sony vx2100, a Rode videomic, tripod, & the odd extra tape & battery. Settled on this one because the packs I found that were 'made for' dv cams are all too bulky/heavy/or expensive for a smallish woman on an artist's budget. I LOVE THIS PACK. It exactly fits the equipment mentioned, is light and easy to carry around the sports/outdoor events I shoot, & low-impact if going into, say, a theatre to shoot an event. Handles, straps, zips all in the right places. Great padding. Water/rain resistant (peace of mind!) I like that the camera side rests against my back - extra protection. The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would have loved for the side pocket to be slightly larger and easier to get into so that I could keep an extra tape & battery there instead of loose in the main compartment. Once you put a camcorder & mic in there there's not a lot of room for anything else, despite the handy velcro'd dividers and the carry pouch for extra stuff (made for dslr, not dv cams so the pouch doesn't fit). Other than that - a TERRIFIC pack for the money.

Lowepro Flipside 300 Backpack (Artic Blue) Feature

  • Back entry compartment provides easy access to equipment as well as extra security when pack is being worn
  • Removable accessory pouch allows you to take cables, chargers, manuals and other key accessories
  • Hideaway tripod holder carries a compact tripod or monopod when you need it and easily concealed when you dont
  • Tough water resistant outer fabric protects against moisture and abrasion
  • Detachable waist belt and adjustable sternum strap helps to stabilize pack, distribute weight evenly
The compact, lightweight design of the Flipside 300 backpack lets you carry your pro digital SLR without worry. The unique back compartment entry gives you safe, easy access to camera gear when you’re setting up plus extra security when you’re on the move. Outer storage panels keep digital accessories and personal items close at hand.

Bad fit - David Gray -
I recently came back from hiking on skyline drive where I slipped on a rock and almost broke my expensive camera. Time for hands free camera case! I just wanted a small case to carry my camera, a few accessories and a water bottle. I choose the 300 because of its size, waist belt and exterior water bottle container. The package arrived almost overnight. Wow. Amazon how do you do it. The chief complaint about the zipper not going down far enough was not an issue. I could easily access everything. My problem was fit. I'm a big guy 6'4' and 220. I had a hard time putting the backpack on because it was too tight on my shoulders. The waist strap was narrow and uncomfortable. The straps did not have locks to control the excess strap after it was adjusted.

iPad fits! - V -
This bag offers it all, security, conferrable during long hikes and my iPad sits on the camera without moving around inside. The iPad does not fit in the sleeve nor makes any contact to my 450d and the lenses. That way, i can import the photos into the iPad, do minor edits and e-mail them out on the spot. Other people have great review on the pros and cons of this bag so i will not go into them.

This bag fits me well.

Love this camera!

It was difficult making a decision regarding cameras in this price range; Canon, Olympus, Fuji, Samsung, Nikon, Kodak, Polariod, etc., etc., etc.

All had 5 star ratings, and all had 1 star ratings.

I based my decision on having had a old Nikon F1, and how much I enjoyed using it.

So, I chose the Nikon, and I am glad that I did!

I find this camera easy to use, and it takes excellent pictures.

Keep in mind that I am a casual photographer, and that the pictures I am taking are for person use, as well as ebay/craigslist.

The camera interfaces easily with my XP Pro desktop, and uploading is a breeze.

I recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive, easy to use, quality digital camera.

Nikon camera - Sergey Trofimenko - Bay Area
Great camera with all necessary features for beginner (and even more advanced). I purchased this camera as a gift for my friend, and it works great. It looks like the best combination of quality and price. Also, I received this camera in no time - literally, on next day.

Depends on what you want - Rocky Baker - Athens, AL USA
First off I am a big fan of Nikon. I own three Nikon DSLR's and really like them all.

As of a few months ago I owned one Nikon L3 point and shoot camera and one Canon A720 IS P&S camera. The Canon seemed to be much better and I had a little cash to spare so I bought the newer version of each, a Nikon L22 and a Canon A1100 IS. For what I want, the Canon is much better.

The Nikon isn't a bad camera, but it isn't what I want in a camera. There are not enough manual controls. You can see from a picture of the camera that it does not have the big button function selector on top. You are a slave to the Nikon menu's and they don't have nearly the number of choices that I want. There is no Program shooting mode, just Auto. Therefore it will not allow me to choose the ISO setting, which is improtant to me. Like most P&S cameras it does not have a viewfinder so you are left to hold the camera out one or two feet away from you to shoot the picture. I want a viewfinder to look through so that my head helps hold the camera steady, which is VERY improtant in taking a picture with any kind of camera. Some, but not all, of the Canon P&S cameras do have a viewfinder.

If you can get past the limitations of auto selected ISO settings and can hold the camera steady, there is no problem with picture quality. My guess is that a lot of people who don't know as much as I do about digital cameras would love the simplicity of the L22, and the L22 is 40-50 bucks cheaper than most Canon P&S cameras so it just depends on what you want in a camera.

Sennheiser Rs110 926 Mhz Wireless Rf Headphones

Sennheiser Rs110 926 Mhz Wireless Rf Headphones Review

These phones are a remarkable value. The sound quality is excellent and I get perfect reception anywhere in my large 3-story home. Unless you are going to use them for many hours each day, the disposable batteries work just fine (I'm still on my first set); you will save enough over the rechargeable rs-120 model to buy batteries for a long time or you can use rechargeable AAs. Otherwise, the rs-110 and rs-120 models seem identical.

I had been using a set of Rocketfish cordless phones that cost twice as much and bought these for a second viewer. But I now use the Sennheisers as they are lighter, have less clamping pressure, have better range and better sound. A very nice but unadvertised feature is the ability to switch between 3 frequencies in the event your neighbor also has a pair of these. Some reviewers have complained about the static heard when there is no input signal to the base station but that hasn't been an issue for me since I always turn on my audio/TV system before donning the phones.

  • Bass Response

These Sennheiser entry-level headphones are an ideal choice for people who like to walk around the room while listening to their favorite tunes. The system features a 900 MHz wireless transmitter that broadcast a powerful signal throughout the room--and even through walls and ceilings. Should listeners wander upstairs or outside, they can still enjoy the headphones' warm sound and strong bass response provided they stay within range. The RS-110 headphones are also ideal for listening to late-night TV without waking up the rest of the house. And thanks to the lightweight, soft ear pads, the phones feel comfortable through hours of use. In addition, the phones include replaceable parts, so users don't have to buy new headphones each time a part wears out, along with a pair of AAA batteries. So don't get tied down by restrictive cables. With these Sennheiser headphones, users will enjoy a whole new world of wireless convenience.

Junk! Don't even take them as a free gift! - j's aunt - Southern California
After reading lots of reviews, I decided on these RS 110s and purchased them from Ace Photo Digital (see separate review of them).

I could explain about ease of setup, sound quality, and comfort, but there really is no reason to do that, unless you only want headphones that last 1 month (or 3 days). I'll explain... I had no problem initially (although the comfort and sound quality were good, but neither were excellent). But then, just about 1 month after I had gotten them, it sounded like I was losing the signal. I tuned them, but couldn't get any sound. I thought that was pretty soon for batteries to wear down, but tried replacing the batteries, but they still did not work.

I contacted Amazon (not that it was easy to do that) but was told that there was no recourse because I bought it from a Marketplace seller. I contacted the seller (APD) but they do not replace or refund headphones, period (so beware!). They suggested I contact the manufacturer, and there, I was initially told that they had no way of knowing I'd even purchased them (or that they "weren't stolen"). Finally I reached a reasonable person there, who initially said I'd have to give my credit card number (to be charged and later reimbursed) and she'd send me a new pair. I refused, but she decided to send them to me anyway (with the plan that I'd send the faulty pair later--which I did).

The second pair worked for precisely 3 days when one side went out. Needless to say, I would not recommend these. I wouldn't even donate them (although I wish I had donated the to my favorite charity, instead).

They are in the trash.

Grado Prestige Series SR-60i Padded Headphones

Grado Prestige Series SR-60i Padded Headphones Review

I faced the same dilemma as many other buyers faced. Was it worth paying the extra for the sr80i's? In the end, I think not. I listened to both at a local store (where I bought the headphones) and found the difference minute. I was listening to music recorded in FLAC and the bass in the sr80s sounded a bit too overwhelming for my tastes. I don't think you need me to rant on about how good the headphones are in their dynamic ability because there are plenty of high end reviews out there such as the review by Stereophile. I followed other people's recommendations and bent the band back until the phone just barely hold on when I look down. Now I can listen to the headphones for hours without any complaints. When I first got them, I could only listen for about 2 hours before my head hurt, but with less clamping force that complaint is gone.

Good:
Sound - The BEST part about these headphones
Price - While may sound steep, you will never want to listen to anything else

The Bad:
You will be disappointed with any other method of listening to music
Can be uncomfortable, but I have had no problem with them, even after 4 hours of listening

So what are you waiting for? It's time to order yourself a pair of Grado's. You will be happy you did.

Canon PowerShot SD1400IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Pink) Review

This is our THIRD Canon Powershot. We had the first generation Powershot and it took a beating. It was dropped, bumped, dented, you name it. Kept on working. It finally broke (the switch between movie/video/playback snapped) when it hit a tile floor from about 4 feet up. I had just purchased our second one for myself and I purchased this one for my wife to replace her broken Powershot.
We have found that these cameras are loaded with features (such as color selecting that allows for a b/w photo with a splash of color from certain objects in the picture), excellent video quality, long battery life and obviously GREAT pictures. It is easy to use, and once you can navigate the menus (takes a few uses to figure this part out) the features are many. The ONE caveat for this camera is to get a memory card that is HD and has a LOT of memory on it. The HD video uses a lot of space (although it has gotten more efficient in the newest models). This is a GREAT camera that we will continue to buy for years.

It's all about color............NOT! - Rich's Property Services Freda - SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL, US
I bought this PINK camera for my daughter and within two weeks the camera would shut down due to an error code that eventually could not be solved. Tech support suggestions could not solve the problem. She had to send it in for repairs/replacement. Canon sent a new camera back, however it was an orange one. They refused to send a pink one to replace the one I bought. They basically said too bad, so sad, this is all you get. Amazon services were great, shipping was right on time and the packaging was superb. The camera is great.....when it works. Canon's service policy and customer service, however, is sub-standard. They did send the new (ORANGE) camera within a reasonable amount of time, but if I wanted an orange one I would have bought one. I will never buy a Canon product again because of the way they told us to kiss off and I will be all too happy to spread the word about Canon's take it or leave it attitude for their customers. Maybe they're comfortable with their current market share of Digital Cameras? But I now will start looking at the Nikon's and Panasonic's. Canon's technical quality is not that much better than the competition to have to sacrifice quality of service.

Samsung AQ100 - Digital camera - compact - 12.2 Mpix - optical zoom: 5 x - supported memory: SD, SDHC - blue Review

I bought this camera after returning a Pentax W80 which had horrible picture quality. I was trying to replace an older Pentax Optio Wpi which is a wonderful older waterproof camera, took good pics @ 6MP and was very durable. So I wanted to replace this older camera with one at higher MP, something waterproof that I could take biking, to the beach, and do occasional snorkeling with and not worry about water. I read a lot of reviews on waterproof cameras before I decided to give the Samsung a try. There were only very limited reviews on this particular one when I bought it, but I decided to take a chance since the camera is priced very well.

I've only played with it for a day, but immediately I could see that the pictures are vastly better than the Pentax W80 that I had returned. The Smart Auto mode does a great job most of the time in selecting the correct settings for a shot. You can also select from a number of different preset modes for different shooting environments (water, night, backlit, sports, portrait, etc.). The Program mode has a fair amount of settings that you can change as well as some useful features such as self-portrait mode, detect smile, vignetting, and others. Close up mode worked great. I think this camera is going to fill my requirements for a small point-and-shoot to toss in my bag that can handle being outdoors without fear of getting wet while still taking good quality pictures. I'll still bring out my larger Canon when I really want the best quality, but this camera does very well for its size. It is also very attractive and a nice size.

So that was the good, not too many comments on the bad aspects yet. I have posted some of my photos under the 'product images' in the item description. You can see in some of them, the colors get a little too oversaturated, particularly red and green. This was not in a large percentage of the photos by any means, but I did see it on occasion. Most of the photos I uploaded were outdoor photos, the one indoor photo I posted was at ISO 400 and you could start to see pixelation, not drastic but it was there. The movie mode has an issue with the zoom during recording. I had noticed this before buying the camera in videos posted online taken by this type of camera. The motor is a little loud on the movie recording, so be forewarned if this is a deal-breaker for you. You can choose the option to mute the recorded sound during zooming (so obviously they knew this was an issue). I have posted a sample video at [..] if you want to check it out for yourself. The videos record in .mp4 format. I didn't think the motor noise was terribly distracting though.

I have yet to take it to the beach, so I will update this review once I try some underwater shots. Hopefully next week I'll have a chance to try it out on some fish underwater. Then I may also be able to comment on any condensation issues as another reviewer noted. So far, the camera is a keeper for me.

Update ~1 week later. Have used the camera a lot over the last week and finally took it to the beach today. It worked great, takes even better underwater pics than our older camera that I had loved. The focus was great underwater and the pics were sharp with good color. Unfortunately I didn't find any fish today to photograph, but I took a couple shots underwater around the rocks and coral to try it out. I'm glad I bought the Samsung, I have no regrets.

Review of Samsung AQ100 after 2 weeks in Riviera Maya Mexico -- Not so great - Adam1mc -
I was really excited about getting this camera for my Mexico wedding and vacation. I wanted a waterproof HD camera and I compared many cameras before finally deciding on the Samsung AQ100. Some of the major selling points were waterproof, 720HD, 12.2MP, better optics than comparably priced cameras and the fact that Samsung has some of the nicest HD TV's on the market (IMO). So I bought the camera and received it just days before leaving for Mexico.

I really should have learned the features better before departing for the trip, had I had time to learn the scenes and programs (especially night feature with extended shutter {tripod necessary}and sunset features) I really think I could have had some better pictures. This was my issue. But I had some major issues with the camera which may sway potential buyers.

The camera was used lots in the water. Both the ocean and the swimming pools of the resort where we married. The waterproof feature was the biggest selling point. The camera was never taken deeper than the 9 feet that is stated on the features list, but after 2 days condensation started building on both the lens and the LCD display. The condensation on the display wasn't a big deal, but the condensation on the lens was huge. It ruined tons of our pics. We went parasailing. We rode on the boat for about 30 minutes before riding. The whole time we waited and rode the lens was clear. The moment we got up in the air condensation built on the lens and ruined all the pics.

And while the condensation is a major problem, the audio recording for the video is even worse and the gears can be heard on all the videos when using the zoom feature while recording. The entire wedding ceremony was recorded on this camera. The audio can barely be heard through the clicking and gearing noises that are made by the zoom. And as before, condensation build-up ruined the overall quality of the video. The lens was completely fogged up by the end of the video. The ceremony lasted 15 minutes and the video was never stopped. I've included links below to show the very beginning and very end of the video which just so happens to be a very similar image. Just look at the difference in quality. If at all possible, I'll also include a short video of the clicking and gearing noises that ruined our wedding video.

Overall I'm not happy about this camera. Some things were pretty good, others were not. I plan on contacting Samsung to return this unit.
